ACCOMPANIST and VOCAL/REPERTOIRE COACH
Accompanying is a lifelong passion of mine and I have a great deal of experience as an accompanist - both with singers and instrumentalists. I have worked as a freelance accompanist for many years and have worked as a freelancer for Queens University and the University of Western Australia. I am very keen to explore new musical collaborations in this area. I am an excellent sightreader, a quick study, and fluent in all stylers of music from classical to pop. For the past several years I have worked part-time in the fabulous Music Theatre Performance Program at St Lawrence College in Brockville in the role of vocal coach, accompanist, lecturer (and amateur psychologist).
I also offer private vocal/repertoire coaching sessions for singers of all kinds. If you are preparing for an audition, struggling with a harmony line, need a recording, or looking to find some new repertoire (I have a huge selection for men AND women, particularly in the MT and pop genres) then please consider me. I also offer general musicianship classes for singers who want to improve in that area.
